Established in 1993 by then Boise State University Director of Basketball Operations (1999-2002) Loren Schwarzhoff, FLITE uses the basketball experience to develop leadership, teamwork, and basketball skills. FLITE strives to enhance the overall development of the student-athlete. Additionally, FLITE understands the value of athletics in the overall development of youth and uses the game as a vehicle for teaching life's challenges and valuable lessons on and off the court.
Currently FLITE is helping more than 50 students prepare athletically and academically to compete for college scholarships. The goal of FLITE is to help these young men earn scholarships by providing basketball tutelage and, more importantly, the educational tools to succeed.
